May 2016 Issue Preview

What better way to celebrate 50 years of Volkswagen Motorsport than a feature highlighting our top 20 VW racing machines of all time? So comprehensive is the article that we’ve had to split it in two, running ten this month and another ten in the next issue. Starting with the oldest first and coming up to modern day, we’ve not been this excited about a feature in a while. However, if you are more into the trailer queen stuff, then we’ve produced a six-page report from the UK’s modified VW season opener we all know and love to be Ultimate Dubs (p48).

The May 2016 digital issue is on sale now! You can pick up your print copy from our online store.

The 2016 show season didn’t just kick off with a bang, it was a full-on ground-shaking explosion. Yes, once again Ultimate Dubs was huge with more people, more cars and yep, more controversy than ever before.

With the Polo R WRC’s domination of the World Rally Championship recently, it’s easy to overlook some of the other cult VW racers from days gone by. Over the next two issues we’ll be highlighting our top 20 all-time favourite Volkswagen racers.
